ARGUMENTATIVE TEXT A. Social Function What is Argumentative Text for? An argumentative text uses evidence and facts to prove whether or not a thesis is true, so two sides of an issue are presented in it. This text covers the most important arguments for and against. B. Text Structure Here is an explanation of a argumentative text's structure. 1. Thesis : presents the issue of concern. Example : I personally think that plastic bag waste is one of the biggest causes of environmental pollution problems in the world. Here are some reason why I think so. 2. Arguments : present the reasons for concern, leading to the recommendation. Learning Reflection : Deskriptive Text

 Theory 1. Social function menurut saya, teks deskripsi adalah teks yang mendeskripsikan sesuatu secara detail. Salah satu fungsi sosial adalah untuk menggambarkan orang,tempat,benda,hewan tertentu. 2. Structure of Descriptive text ada dua structure Descriptive text yaitu identifikasi dan deskripsi • Identification  Bagian identification berisi pengenalan objek yang akan dideskripsikan. Contohnya seperti, ‘objek itu apa?’ atau ‘dari mana objek itu berasal?’. • Description  Bagian description berisi penjelasan yang lebih spesifik dari objek yang sedang dideskripsikan. Di bagian ini, kita bisa menjelaskan tentang penampilan maupun kepribadian objek tersebut. 3. Language Component of Descriptive text 1.
